New year Community event

This Akhanda Kirtan Evening is an extended, uninterrupted chant centred on the Maha Mantra, allowing the vibration to deepen and gather momentum over time. As repetition continues, the mind softens, the heart opens, and the nervous system settles into a state of coherence and ease. What begins as sound becomes felt experience   - grounding, uplifting, and quietly transformative.

Chanting in a group amplifies the effect of mantra. The voice activates the breath, the breath regulates the nervous system, and the shared rhythm entrains us back into a natural state of harmony. In this collective space, effort gives way to absorption. You are carried by the sound, supported by community, and invited into a state of presence that is both deeply personal and universally shared.

Guided by experienced kirtanists and supported by live musicians, this evening is open to all. You may sing, listen, rest, or simply sit within the vibration. No prior experience is needed, only a willingness to arrive and participate as you are.

In a busy and often fragmented world, Akhanda Kirtan offers a return to simplicity, connection, and remembrance.  It is a timeless practice that reorients feeling, energy, and awareness towards peace.

We warmly welcome you to gather, chant, and begin the year together in the spirit of devotion and unity.

What CLIENTS Say

I have been a student of yoga & meditation for many, many years and a teacher now for the last 7 years. I've been blessed with the most amazing teachers from various traditions who have each given me special gifts. I was so lucky to begin my 500 hour teaching journey with Pragyadhara this January in a restorative yoga, breathing and yoga nidra course at Kawai Purapura. This and the proceeding study have provided the gateway to the most phenomenal shift in my personal practice and teaching.

Pragyadhara embodies yoga for me. A font of traditional wisdom imparted with deep humility and expertise.

I am grateful for the opportunity I had in working with Pragyadhara. I will be back for more. You should too.
